I saw this quote on 37signals’ blog and I thought it fit well with my latest post on failures.

If the goal is to screw up as fast as possible, you need an environment that allows you to do it safely.
The point is not about screwing up, it’s about running experiments to prove our theory before going further along. This is what engineer called the scientific method
The “scientific method” is just the politically correct way of “screwing up”. Plus, the title “Failure is an Option” is more catchy than “Scientific Method is an Option”
